Summary
PixelAnalyzer analyzes photos entirely on your device. Image data is never uploaded to any server. The app uses third-party SDKs for analytics and advertising, which may collect limited device data as described below.
✓ Images never leave your device · ✓ No accounts required · ✓ No face data shared
⚙️ Image Analysis — On-Device Only
All image analysis is performed locally on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks:
- Vision — face detection, object recognition, text recognition (OCR), barcode scanning
- Core Image / Accelerate — color analysis, histogram, quality metrics
- ImageIO — EXIF metadata extraction
Your images are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any server or third party.
👤 Face Data
The app uses Apple's Vision framework to detect faces in images you select. All face data handling is as follows:
- What is detected: Face bounding box, count, and pose angles (roll, yaw, pitch). No identity or biometric data is derived.
- Purpose: Results are displayed on-screen as part of the image analysis only.
- Storage: Face detection results are never written to disk and are not included in saved history.
- Sharing: Face data is never shared with any third party or uploaded to any server.
📊 Analytics
This app uses Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage statistics such as screen views and feature engagement. Data collected may include:
- App open events and session duration
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- Country (inferred from IP address, not stored)
Firebase Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information. Data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
📢 Advertising
This app uses AppLovin MAX to serve ads. AppLovin may collect device information and, if you grant permission, your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to deliver relevant ads. Data collected may include:
- Device identifiers (IDFA if permitted)
- IP address and general location
- Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)
You will be shown Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before any IDFA is accessed. You may deny tracking at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
AppLovin's data practices are governed by the AppLovin Privacy Policy.
🔗 Attribution
This app uses AppsFlyer for mobile attribution — measuring which channels drive app installs. AppsFlyer may process:
- IDFA (only if you grant ATT permission)
- Install timestamp and referring channel
- Device type and OS version
AppsFlyer's data practices are governed by the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.
🔐 Permissions
- Camera: Used only when you tap "Take a Photo". Not accessed at any other time.
- Photo Library (read): Used only when you tap "Choose from Library".
- Photo Library (write): Used only if you choose to export an annotated image.
- Clipboard: Read only when you tap "Paste from Clipboard". Not accessed automatically.

💾 Local Storage
If you save an analysis to history, the following is stored locally on your device only:
- A small thumbnail of the image (JPEG)
- Analysis date and image source label (e.g. "Camera", "Photo Library")
- Dominant color values and basic quality metrics
This data never leaves your device. Delete it at any time from Settings → Delete All Data.
🤖 No Third-Party AI Services
PixelAnalyzer does not use any third-party AI or cloud vision service (such as OpenAI, Google Cloud Vision, or AWS Rekognition). All intelligence features are powered exclusively by Apple's on-device frameworks.
